Beware of Chip and Pin Scam - RBS and Streamline

Members are being warned to take care after recent fraud alerts involving RBS and Streamline machine. One retailer recently lost £9,000 where a retailer received a call telling him his RBS Streamline machine was being updated and two men arrived to collect it from the shop. When it returned Streamline queried the number of refunds being generated only to realise that he had been the victim of fraud.

Flood Warnings

There are currently over 28 flood warnings in place in South West England and the Midlands. The Met Office are predicting further heavy rain and strong winds which could lead to up to 50mm of rain - inceasing the risk of flooding. Check the latest flood warnings on the Environment Agency website or the Scottish Environment Protection Agency website.
